Welcome to the Central
California Valley Squadron Web Site
Our mission is
to preserve in flying condition heritage combat aircraft which were flown by
all military services of the United States in World War II and later
conflicts. In accomplishing our mission we preserve, maintain, display and
fly a vintage 1945 L-5 liaison airplane. The airplane and a planned museum
are displayed at Modesto Airport and we moved into the historic
Hangar 1 at Modesto in March, 2005. This Web page shows are Events Schedule
as well as our meeting schedules and planned activities at our meetings. If
you are interested in military aircraft, come and join us.

aircraft. Come and visit a great display the second Saturday of every
month between 10AM and 2 PM.
Join us at Modesto Airport in front of Hangar 1
for a display of wonderful vintage aircraft. The display is free to the
public. Enter at the gate next to the Pilots Lounge adjacent to the
Modesto Flight Center. There will be a sign at the entrance.
If you own a vintage aircraft and wish to
display it, please register at Hangar 1 at 0900 on Display days. This
display qualifies for tax exemption purposes.
